Stillness in the Garden
I stepped outside this morning with my coffee and no agenda.
The garden had already begun.

I watched as it circled the same plant. The same movement, but never rushed…I watched another just be still, and yet one more was engaged in some sort of self grooming ritual.
Not everything has to bloom loudly to be meaningful. This morning, the humidity was thick enough to keep the wind from blowing. And because of that—a rarity in summer—a photographer’s boon: the lack of wind made for a still flower. A perfect bee, and a quiet moment with coffee in hand.
If this moment landed gently with you, I hope you’ll find one of your own today.
Step outside. Wait for the world to stop rushing. Something is already happening.

Stillness reveals more than I thought
🌼 New here? I post one “Monday Moment” every week. It’s my way of slowing down and listening to what my garden is trying to teach me.
