A Yellow-Rumped Warbler, October

The purpose of this garden was to provide a hiding spot. Nobody wants to come home after a long day and see garbage. We wanted a screen planting to hide our large trash can, so it would not be the first thing we saw when we came home.

When we first bought the house, there was a puny set of stairs and a scraggly butterfly bush. We added the small platform deck, but still, the space craved something more.

But this small rainbow shaped garden hides more than just our garbage can. Read more about who also hides here: http://flutterbymeadows.com/hide-and-beak/

We added a stone walkway in 2022.
